Our Surveying Team
John Murray, Surveying Lead
John joined TOBIN in 1996 and heads up the Surveying func琀椀on of our Water & U琀椀li琀椀es Division at TOBIN. He has extensive experience of undertaking
site iden琀椀昀椀ca琀椀on and assessment assignments for a number of clients in the private and public sectors. John is highly skilled in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3d,
Microsurvey Surveying So昀琀ware and numerous Microso昀琀 packages. He has experience in preparing a number of of route selec琀椀on and planning applica琀椀ons for
various projects including walking trails, Powerlines, roads, watermain route selec琀椀ons residen琀椀al developments, solar farms, wind farms etc. John leads many of
the CDBW surveys and is very familiar with se琀�ng out and surveying using Robo琀椀c Total Sta琀椀ons and GPS systems as well as post processing for Civil 3d Surfaces.
Liam Walters, Engineer
Liam is a Project Engineer working in our Limerick O昀케ce in the Water & U琀椀li琀椀es division. He has several years of experience working with Irish Water on various
water and wastewater projects. Liam has gained extensive knowledge working on pumping sta琀椀on upgrades, the lining of stone culverts and drainage area plans.
As part of Liam’s role, he carries out regular topological surveys post survey data processing.
Kevin Donlon, Engineer
Kevin is an Engineer in TOBIN’s Water & U琀椀li琀椀es division. He has a BE (Hons) in Civil Engineering and has gained extensive experience on a wide range of projects
in areas of management, design, and analysis, speci昀椀ca琀椀on, procurement and construc琀椀on. Kevin has substan琀椀al experience in Topographical Surveying as well as
working with GIS systems.
Eoin Masterson, Surveying Technician
Eoin is a Technician in TOBIN’s Water & U琀椀li琀椀es Division, working on a variety of projects, most notably on Irish Water’s Major Network Management Framework.
He graduated from GMIT with a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology. Eoin has signi昀椀cant experience working with GIS systems, maintaining data for
projects and crea琀椀ng maps for projects as well as harnessing external data sources for projects.
