Athenry Topographical Survey

TOBIN were appointed to provide design services by
Galway County Council for Market Square in Athenry,
Galway. A topographical survey was carried out as part
of the Public Realm project and all physical features
on the street scape were recorded. Some equipment
used included a GPS unit as well as a Robo琀椀c Total
Sta琀椀on. John Murray, Surveying Lead also dealt with
Tra昀케c Management, pedestrians and stakeholders and
addressed any queries from the public.
Copper Coast Trail, Waterford

Loca琀椀on: Co. Waterford
TOBIN prepared a feasibility study for a proposed
recrea琀椀onal trail in Co. Waterford which included
route selec琀椀on, speci昀椀ca琀椀on of materials, subconsultant management, prepara琀椀on of preliminary
bill of quan琀椀琀椀es and landowner nego琀椀a琀椀ons and
consulta琀椀ons. A topographical survey was carried out
along the Cli昀昀 face from Stradbally to Bunmahon for the
proposed walking Trail. A GPS unit was used to set up
the control sta琀椀ons and to record all the informa琀椀on.
