PSDP Experience
TOBIN has vast experience in carrying out the role of PSDP, in accordance with the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Construc琀椀on Regula琀椀ons.
As PSDP, TOBIN ensures that Health & Safety is a high priority on all projects. Taking account of the general principles of preven琀椀on, TOBIN will
ensure that the design provides for a site solu琀椀on in rela琀椀on to construc琀椀on and ul琀椀mately opera琀椀on and ongoing maintenance of the building.
As PSDP our main du琀椀es include:

Iden琀椀fy hazards arising from the design or from the technical organisa琀椀onal, planning or 琀椀me related aspects of the project
Where possible, eliminate the hazards or reduce the risk
Communicate necessary control measures, design assump琀椀ons or remaining risks to the PSCS
Ensure that the work of designers is coordinated to ensure safety
Organise co-opera琀椀on between designers
Deliver a comprehensive safety 昀椀le to the client on comple琀椀on.
As part of our QMS, TOBIN have a dedicated system of protocols (RM06) for performing the role of PSDP as set out in the HSA Guidelines and
under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construc琀椀on) Regula琀椀ons, 2013 (SHWW Regs).

Safety Management System
TOBIN has developed it’s own Safety Management System which has received ISO 45001 Cer琀椀昀椀ca琀椀on. This has enabled TOBIN to provide a
safe and healthy workplace for its employees which in turn aids the company in it’s performance of PSDP du琀椀es.
