Siobhán Tinnelly, Operations Director - Environment & Planning
Siobhán joined the Environment and Planning division of TOBIN in 2004, having previously worked in the Explora琀椀on and Mining Division (EMD) of
the (then) Department of Communica琀椀ons, Marine and Natural Resources. Siobhán holds an Honours Degree in Natural Sciences and a Postgraduate
Diploma in Environmental Engineering, both from Trinity College Dublin. She completed an MSc. in Applied Hydrogeology in Newcastle University
and, more recently, Diplomas in Business Management (IMI) and Corporate Governance (CGI), in addi琀椀on to a Cert. in ESG. Siobhán was also awarded
the 琀椀tle of Professional Geologist (P.Geo) from the Ins琀椀tute of Geologists of Ireland (IGI).
Laura Kennedy, Associate Director/ Lead Ecologist - Environment & Planning
Laura holds the posi琀椀on of Associate Director/ Lead Ecologist. She is a quali昀椀ed and experienced environmental consultant with ten years’ postgraduate experience in environmental sciences and environmental consultancy in Canada and Ireland. Laura has a strong technical background as
an aqua琀椀c ecologist and has extensive 昀椀eld experience in biological and chemical water quality assessment. She has also collected hydrology and
meteorology data, conducted wildlife surveys (bird and nest surveys, amphibian surveys), and carried out 昀椀sh habitat assessments, which included
electro昀椀shing, minnow trapping and 昀椀sh iden琀椀昀椀ca琀椀on.
James Forde, Technical Director & Senior Ecologist - Environment & Planning
James is an Ecologist with almost 20 years of academic and environmental consultancy experience. He has signi昀椀cant experience in the provision
of strategic technical and environmental advice for developments across a wide range of sectors in both Ireland and the UK, including onshore and
o昀昀shore renewables, telecommunica琀椀ons, 昀氀ood relief schemes, port and harbour developments, energy genera琀椀on, and transmission.
