Castlebanny Wind Farm

In September 2022, Castlebanny
Wind Farm was granted planning
permission by An Bord Pleanála.
This 21 no. turbine wind farm in
Co. Kilkenny with a 35-year life
span, is a Strategic Infrastructure
Development wind farm, including
a 110kV loop-in substa琀椀on.

Codling Offshore Wind
Park
Loca琀椀on: Co. Dublin/ Wicklow
Codling Wind Park is a 1,300 MW
o昀昀shore wind farm proposed to
be developed in the Irish Sea. The
TOBIN Ecology Team managed the
onshore terrestrial ecology aspects
of this project and assisted in the
prepara琀椀on of the 110 kV substa琀椀on
and Natura Impact Statement.
Derryadd Wind Farm
Loca琀椀on: Co. Longford
The project consisted of 24
wind turbines, a substa琀椀on,
BESS and a proposed amenity
park. From 2016 to 2019, the
team undertook a range of
environmental and engineering
assessments and surveys within
and surrounding the boundary
of the proposed wind farm
applica琀椀on.
Bruckana Wind Farm
Loca琀椀on: Co. Kilkenny
TOBIN applied our engineering
capability and environmental
exper琀椀se to secure planning
permission for this wind farm,
on behalf of Bord na Móna.
Environmental, Construc琀椀on and
Peat Management Plans, an EIAR
and a Restora琀椀on Plan were
produced for this project.
