We were appointed by Elgin Energy
to prepare a planning applica琀椀on
for a proposed 4 MW solar farm in
Kea琀椀ngs Town Co. Kilkenny. The
planning applica琀椀on included a
detailed Planning and Environmental
Considera琀椀ons Report and site
speci昀椀c assessments.
TOBIN completed the Planning
Applica琀椀on and all associated
documents for this 4 MW solar farm
which comprises of photovoltaic
panels on ground mounted frames
and 4 single storey inverter/
transformer sta琀椀ons.
This project involved a 4 MW solar
farm on an area of approx. 11
hectares comprising of photovoltaic
panels on ground mounted frames,
4 no. single storey inverter/
transformer sta琀椀ons, 1 single
storey 38 kV substa琀椀on, storage
containers and a temporary site
compound.
