TOBIN was appointed to secure
planning permission for the
Trascan Solar Farm. The approved
development consists of a 60
MW solar farm comprising of
photovoltaic panels on groundmounted frames and a 110 kV
substa琀椀on.
Planning permission was granted
for the 4 MW Goresbridge Solar
Farm, Kilkenny in 2016. TOBIN
managed the planning and
environmental assessments for the
applica琀椀on, including ecological,
landscape, hydrogeological and
tra昀케c assessments.
TOBIN were successfully
commissioned by Elgin
Energy to provide planning
and environmental services,
including detailed archaeological
assessments, for the Ballyragget
Solar Farm, Co. Kilkenny.
This project included a 10
MW solar farm on an area of
approximately 17.6 hectares. It
also included a new onsite 38 kV
substa琀椀on. TOBIN secured a 10year planning permission for this
project with an opera琀椀onal period
of 30 years.
