TOBIN were commissioned by Uisce Éireann to
inves琀椀gate new water supplies, with a par琀椀cular focus
on groundwater, to address supply demand de昀椀cits
across mul琀椀ple public Water Supply Zones.
As part of this project, TOBIN is responsible for
developing tailored solu琀椀ons to provide addi琀椀onal
treated water to each of the iden琀椀昀椀ed zones. This
involves compiling data on exis琀椀ng supplies, iden琀椀fying
and proposing suitable loca琀椀ons for new abstrac琀椀ons to
supplement those supplies, and overseeing the drilling
and tes琀椀ng of poten琀椀al new sources.
In addi琀椀on to source development, TOBIN’s Water &
U琀椀li琀椀es Division will also play a key role in designing the
昀椀nal water supply network for each zone, ensuring a
reliable and sustainable water infrastructure is delivered.
