The Green and Blue Infrastructure Strategy will help
inform the emerging Limerick Development Plan which
will set out the objec琀椀ves, policies and land-use zoning
to guide future development within the city for the
period 2022 – 2028. The LDP 2022-2028 will outline
future objec琀椀ves, policies, and land-use zoning in order
to meet future growth objec琀椀ves.

Cork City Council is preparing a new Development Plan
for the city which will set out the objec琀椀ves, policies,
and land-use zoning to guide future development
within the city for the period 2022- 2028. A key thread
within the Development Plan will be to increase the
use of GBI to help drive the transi琀椀on to a Low Carbon
and Climate Resilient Society.
