TOBIN was appointed to carry out
EIAR and planning consultancy
services for the Oweninny Wind
Farm in Co. Mayo on behalf of
Bord na Móna Powergen. The
development is classed as Strategic
Infrastructure Development (SID)
and TOBIN ini琀椀ally engaged with
An Bord Pleanála to con昀椀rm the
SID status.
An SID applica琀椀on was made for
19 wind turbines and all associated
infrastructure including turbine
founda琀椀ons, hardstanding areas,
borrow pits, access tracks, an onsite 110kV electrical substa琀椀on,
works to facilitate delivery of
equipment to site and a grid
connec琀椀on.
The TOBIN team prepared and
submi琀琀ed an Environmental
Impact Assessment Report
(EIAR) and planning applica琀椀on
to Kildare County Council for the
proposed Ummeras Wind Farm
on behalf of Statkra昀琀 Limited.
