TOBIN was appointed to secure
planning permission for the
Trascan Solar Farm. The approved
development consists of a
60-megawa琀琀 (MW) solar farm
comprising of photovoltaic panels
on ground-mounted frames and a
110 kiloVolt (kV) substa琀椀on.
Planning permission was granted
for the 4MW Goresbridge Solar
Farm, Kilkenny in 2016. TOBIN
managed the planning and
environmental assessments for the
applica琀椀on, including ecological,
landscape, hydrogeological and
tra昀케c assessments.
TOBIN were successfully
commissioned by Elgin
Energy to provide planning
and environmental services,
including detailed archaeological
assessments, for the Ballyragget
Solar Farm, Co. Kilkenny.
