Denise Meade, Technical Director - Environment & Planning
Denise is a Technical Director / Senior Project Manager in TOBIN’s Environment & Planning Division and brings with her nearly 17 years’ experience
working in both the public and private sectors. Her experience lies in the project and programme management of mul琀椀-disciplinary environmental
projects in a range of industries including highways, ports, rail, energy from waste and pharmaceu琀椀cal. She has worked extensively in the areas of
Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and is also an IEMA approved Environmental Auditor.
Orla Fitzpatrick, Technical Director / Operations Manager - Environment & Planning
Orla is a Technical Director / Opera琀椀on Manager in TOBIN’s Environment and Planning and has over 20 years’ experience in environmental coordina琀椀on,
appraisal, assessment and technical review of major infrastructure projects, located throughout Ireland and the UK. Orla has experience in delivering
EIA developments through statutory procedures, judicial processes, procurement, and construc琀椀on. She has public inquiry experience, a detailed
knowledge of developing and delivering major infrastructure projects and working with major capital investment programmes.
Laura Kennedy, Associate Director/ Lead Ecologist - Environment & Planning
Laura holds the posi琀椀on of Associate Director/ Lead Ecologist in TOBIN’s Environment and Planning sec琀椀on. She is a quali昀椀ed and experienced
environmental consultant with ten years’ post-graduate experience in environmental sciences and environmental consultancy in Canada and Ireland.
Laura has a strong technical background as an aqua琀椀c ecologist and has extensive 昀椀eld experience in biological and chemical water quality assessment.
She has also collected hydrology and meteorology data, conducted wildlife surveys (bird and nest surveys, amphibian surveys), and carried out 昀椀sh
habitat assessments, which included electro昀椀shing, minnow trapping and 昀椀sh iden琀椀昀椀ca琀椀on.
