Gender Pay Gap Report - Flipbook - Page 3
What it all means
Our mean Gender Pay Gap currently stands at 18%, primarily due to a higher
percentage of males in senior roles. While the gap is higher than we would like, it
remains below the industry average. This re昀氀ects broader trends in our sector, where
fewer women pursue engineering and science disciplines. As an equal opportunity
employer, we are commi琀琀ed to addressing this imbalance, although we con琀椀nue to
receive signi昀椀cantly more applica琀椀ons from males, par琀椀cularly for senior posi琀椀ons.
We are delighted that we have reduced our gender bonus pay gap 昀椀gure in 2025
to 22%, and our median is at 0%.
The gap 昀椀gures highlight the need to have more female representa琀椀ves in senior
posi琀椀ons across the Company. Senior posi琀椀ons, similar to those in many other
Companies, tend to a琀琀ract higher levels of bonus compensa琀椀on.
The mean 昀椀gure compares the remunera琀椀on rate for all employees across the
Company; it does not focus on an employee’s role or experience. Our median pay
gap is 9%, a slight increase from last year. This is due to our current structure, with
a higher number of females in lower-level posi琀椀ons. While this 昀椀gure is rela琀椀vely
modest, we recognise its signi昀椀cance, and we will con琀椀nue to aim to reduce it.
