Learning, Development and Professional Accreditation
At TOBIN, we place a strong emphasis on continuous professional development (CPD)
as a core component of our commitment to employee growth, capability building,
and long-term sustainability. By investing in the ongoing development of our people,
we foster a highly skilled, engaged, and motivated workforce, supporting strong
performance, long-term retention, and career satisfaction across the Company. We
recognise that learning and development not only support individual career progression
but also strengthen the Company’s performance and professional standards, ensuring
we remain at the forefront of our industry.
Our CPD framework is designed to be inclusive, 昀氀exible, and responsive to the evolving
needs of both our employees and the wider sector. A broad range of internal and
external development opportunities is available to employees at all levels and stages
of their careers, supporting continuous improvement, adaptability, and sustainable
employability.
All employees have access to the TOBIN Learning Centre, our internal learning platform,
which provides a comprehensive suite of technical, professional, and soft-skills training
modules. This is complemented by divisional, team-led training sessions, where
individual teams regularly deliver internal workshops and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
These sessions promote collaboration, peer learning, and the exchange of expertise,
helping employees remain current in their disciplines while strengthening cross-team
engagement.
We actively encourage and support participation in external CPD opportunities,
including professional courses, conferences, workshops, and part-time postgraduate
studies (such as Master’s programmes), where aligned with an employee’s role and
career aspirations. This external learning is further reinforced through TOBIN Talks,
which provide a platform for colleagues to learn from one another, share insights
gained through project work, and build a strong internal learning culture.

Throughout the year, TOBIN hosts Professional Membership and Accreditation Talks,
delivered by relevant external bodies, to raise awareness of professional standards,
accreditation pathways, and emerging industry developments. In addition, regular
technical and compliance workshops are facilitated as required, ensuring employees
remain informed of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
Early-career development is supported through our structured Graduate Programme,
which provides graduate-level employees with formal rotational experience, mentoring,
and accredited learning, helping them build a strong professional foundation and a
clear pathway for progression within the organisation. This is complemented by the
TOBIN Academy, which delivers targeted development initiatives including Financial
Awareness training for all employees, alongside Commercial Training and “How to
Have Di昀케cult Conversations” programmes aimed at middle and senior management.
Leadership and people-management capability are key focus areas at TOBIN.
Internal People Management Training is provided to all managers to support e昀昀ective

is complemented by external development initiatives such as the Management Training
Programme for senior management, as well as external leadership programmes and

workshops and accredited training sessions that support employees in maintaining
professional competence, achieving accreditation, and staying ahead of developments

and retaining the talent needed to ensure the continued success and sustainability of
the business.
