Social - Third Level Connections
TOBIN also strengthened its connections with universities and colleges by welcoming
students into our offices, facilitating site visits, and contributing to academic programmes
through guest lectures delivered by our team members. Students from University
of Galway Engineering programmes visited our head office for a series of insightful
presentations delivered by team members across multiple divisions.
These sessions provided students with a broad overview of our work and the diverse
expertise within TOBIN. Following the presentations, students had the valuable
opportunity to visit the Dexcom Stadium site, where they gained real-world insight
into the projects and practices discussed in the office, helping to bring their academic
learning to life.
Across our divisions team members delivered guest lectures to third-level students,
sharing their expertise and knowledge with them. These initiatives demonstrate TOBIN’s
commitment to supporting third-level education and preparing students for successful
careers in the built environment. By fostering meaningful engagement with academic
institutions, we help equip students with practical insights, industry awareness, and
a clearer understanding of career pathways. We remain committed to strengthening
these partnerships and continuing to contribute positively to the development of future
professionals within our communities.
