The Patrick J. Tobin & Co. Ltd Gold Medal
At TOBIN, we are proud to support the next
generation of engineering talent. In 2024, we
had the honour of presenting two prestigious
awards to outstanding students at the University
of Galway: The Patrick J. Tobin & Co. Ltd Gold
Medal and the TOBIN Scholarship Prize.
ESG Autumn Summit
Damien Grehan had the pleasure of attending
the ESG Summit 2024.The event was a dynamic
showcase of cutting-edge technologies, best
practices, and game-changing strategies
designed to achieve ambitious ESG goals.
‘Our Climate, Our Future’ Conference
TOBIN Team Members attended the ‘Our Climate,
Our Future’ at East Glendalough School, Co.
Wicklow. In its second year, this annual event, is
an innovative gathering of the youth of Wicklow
that aims to inspire and empower the next
generation of climate change leaders.
Market Engagement Day
The TOBIN team attended Uisce Éireann Irish
Waters “Market Engagement Day” in relation to
the Greater Dublin Drainage and Water Supply
Project Eastern and Midlands Region; two
projects TOBIN have been actively involved in
over the past number of years in relation to the
Planning Application processes.
Irish National Hydrology Conference 2024
Dr. Aristoteles Tegos, our Flood and Dam Lead,
attended the 25th Irish National Hydrology
Conference at the Hodson Bay Hotel. This
milestone event o昀昀ered an invaluable forum
for sharing policy advancements, research
breakthroughs and practical solutions to
challenges in engineering hydrology and related
昀椀elds.
Women in Energy Seminar
Siobhán Tinnelly attended the A&L Goodbody
LLP’s Annual “Women in Energy” Seminar, where
she attended multiple times and each experience
has been as enlightening as the last, featuring
lively discussions and networking opportunities
with an impressive panel of energy sector leaders.

Our team members in the Environment &
Planning Division attended the Wind Energy
Ireland O昀昀shore Wind 2024 conference. This
two-day event is an excellent opportunity to meet
and network with clients and colleagues in the
wind farm sector.
