Global Engineers India Event
Periakaruppan Annamalai (PK), our Senior
Engineer, delivered a presentation at the Global
Engineers Series hosted by Engineers Ireland at
The Galmont Hotel & Spa, Galway. PK shared
his journey, personal insights, and valuable
advice for newcomers to Ireland.
Solar Ireland 2024
Sinead Ryan and Allison Murphy, from our
Environment & Planning Division, attended the
Solar Ireland 2024 “Road to 2030” conference
at the RDS, Dublin. The conference marks a
key milestone in the journey towards achieving
the Government’s ambitious targets for solar
energy.
2024 IAH (Irish Group) Annual Conference
The hydrogeology team were thrilled to attend
the two-day annual IAH Ireland (Irish Group)
Annual Conference at the Tullamore Court
Hotel.
IAH Annual Fieldtrip
8 of our TOBIN hydrogeologists had the
opportunity to attend the IAH Ireland Annual
Field Trip, with a fascinating focus on Peatland
Restoration and Management in the Midlands
of Ireland. The group explored a variety of
impactful projects, from the restoration of large
industrialised cutover bogs to the positive e昀昀ects
of recovering peatland habitats on biodiversity.
Institute of Geologists of Ireland Conference
Damien Grehan, Director of Business
Development/CSO, attended the Institute of
Geologists of Ireland Conference where the
theme was “Climate & Sustainability – the
Responsibility of the Geoscientist”.
CIEEM Irish Conference 2024
The TOBIN Ecology Team were delighted to
attend the Chartered Institute of Ecology and
Environmental Management (CIEEM) Irish
Conference 2024, which focused on the practical
impacts of environmental policy and legislation
on Ireland’s ecology.

Our team had a great time attending the Wind
Energy Ireland Conference where the panel
discussed insightful and interesting topics such
as “International Perspective - Thinking Beyond
2030” and “Getting O昀昀shore Wind Delivered”.
