TOBIN Learning Centre
In 2024, we have continued our development of the TOBIN Learning Centre, a
comprehensive training and development platform designed to support ongoing sta昀昀
growth and competency. It has become an essential tool in fostering continuous
professional development within TOBIN.
The TOBIN Learning Centre provides access to live events, such as TOBIN Talks, and
allows for the management and storage of these events for future reference. Training
paths can be customised to suit speci昀椀c groups of sta昀昀, whether they are new starters,
managers, or speci昀椀c teams like civil designers.
The TOBIN Learning Centre o昀昀ers a wide range of training resources, including videobased and presentation-driven learning. The platform houses thousands of courses
and learning paths focused primarily on technical software and internal processes,
allowing sta昀昀 to enhance their skills in various areas relevant to their roles.
Furthermore, the platform includes access to industry-leading e-learning resources,
o昀昀ering training on key software tools used throughout the business, including
ArcGIS, Revit, Civil 3D, Microdrainage (Causeway Flow), and Microsoft Suite, among
others. The platform also enables the testing of sta昀昀 or potential hires to assess their
competencies in various areas, ensuring that all employees meet the necessary skill
requirements for their roles.
In addition, the platform enables the upload of custom training content, such as
materials related to internal policies, work昀氀ows, and other organisational needs. It also
supports the tracking of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities, both
within the platform and from external learning sources, ensuring sta昀昀 can easily record
and manage their development.

ensuring equal opportunities for training and development. Additionally, it allows for the
targeted delivery of training, sending speci昀椀c content to sta昀昀 based on their roles or
needs.
