TOBIN has created a Career
Pathway Programme which is
intended to formalise the career
pathway of our engineers,
scientists, quantity surveyors,
planners, technicians and all
the other professionals who
are part of the TOBIN team.
The programme aims to set out
career progression milestones for
each grade of professional, from
graduate to Operations Manager.
We’re proud to announce the completion of our two-year Graduate Programme, where
our graduates chose four 6-month rotations, gained hands-on experience across
consulting services, and achieved the Engineers Ireland CPD Certi昀椀cate in Professional
Engineering. This programme has given them a unique opportunity to grow, apply their
skills to real-life projects, and build a solid foundation for their careers.
Now, we’re thrilled to welcome a new rotation of graduates, including Iain Campbell,
Rebecca von Beaumont, Ciara Byrne and Oonagh Fleming who is currently midrotation. Each graduate will have the support of a trained mentor, guiding them through
each phase of their journey.
At TOBIN, we’re dedicated to supporting our team’s professional and technical growth.
We can’t wait to see what our graduates accomplish next.
This will provide our employees with more visibility of their potential career progression
and guide them in their own Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The
development of the Career Pathway was one of the reasons for TOBIN being awarded
Engineers Ireland CPD Employer of the Year.

Learning & Development Support
Our TOBIN Academy forum continues to empower our senior and middle management
teams. Our goal is to equip them with the tools and strategies necessary to embrace
a coaching approach in their leadership styles. By fostering this way of engaging
with their teams, we aim to enhance communication, strengthen relationships, and
ultimately drive success through e昀昀ective management practices.
Our People Management Programme, which launched in May 2024, is an initiative
is designed to empower and enhance the skills of our Managers by providing them
with fundamental management training. Through this programme, we aim to foster
a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development,
ensuring our Managers well-prepared to lead their teams.
