TOBIN is delighted to have sponsored
The Coro昀椀n Loop road races which
took place in November 2024. With
over 500 registered entrants, this is
one of the largest permitted races on
the running calendar in the West of
Ireland and includes an 8k race and a
10mile race. TOBIN’s Brian Gallagher
is Chairman of Coro昀椀n AC and is
on the organising committee who
have worked hard to create a very
successful event.
TOBIN team members celebrated
a great result in winning 3rd place
in the Fittest Company Challenge
(medium-sized companies category)
in the Great Limerick Run. This is a
great reward for the twelve TOBIN
runners who took part across the
Marathon, Half-Marathon and 6 Mile
races, which had in total over 10,000
runners taking part.
TOBIN was proud to sponsor the
19th Galway Athenry Scout Group,
contributing to the purchase of new
camping equipment, including tents
and cooking gear, that will be used
for many years to come.
This support helped equip a 7-day
adventure to Austria and Switzerland,
where 18 scouts, accompanied
by 6 dedicated volunteer leaders,
embarked on an unforgettable
journey. Among the volunteers was Rhianna McDonnell, a TOBIN team member at
the time, who played a key role in guiding and supporting the group throughout their
expedition.
TOBIN has recently become a
corporate member of Kinvara GAA’s
‘Cairde Cinn Mhara’ initiative.
This initiative aims to support the
club in achieving its strategic goal of
constructing a Community Clubhouse
and Wellness facility at their grounds
in Kinvara, Co. Galway. Brian Carroll,
Director at TOBIN, was delighted to
attend an excellent Corporate Q&A
event hosted by Meghan Scully,
featuring Pat McDonagh from Supermac’s, Michéal Donoghue, the Galway Senior
Hurling Manager, and Sarah Dervan, former Galway Camogie All-Ireland winning
Captain.
The session provided valuable insights into leadership in both sports and business and
highlighted their interconnectedness. TOBIN is proud to support this important e昀昀ort to
enhance wellness facilities in Ireland and within our local communities.
