Recognising Excellence in Sustainable Engineering
On October 23rd, 2024, TOBIN proudly received the 2024 Environmental Engineering
Project of the Year award for the River Mall (Templemore) Flood Relief Scheme.
TOBIN has also been shortlisted for the Association of Consulting Engineers
of Ireland (ACEI) Engineering Excellence Awards 2025 in the Sustainability –
Natural Environment category, for our work on the Clieveragh Flood Relief Scheme.
Delivered in close partnership with the O昀케ce of Public Works (OPW), this project is
a shining example of our commitment to sustainable environmental engineering providing solutions that not only protect communities but also enhance and preserve
the natural environment. From initial design through to completion, the scheme
was guided by principles of environmental stewardship, innovation, and resilience.
This recognition re昀氀ects the collective hard work, passion, and commitment
of everyone involved to create positive environmental and social impact.
In line with Our Purpose, as outlined in our Strategic Plan, we remain focused
on shaping a more sustainable future - developing resilient infrastructure
that balances community protection with long-term environmental care.
