This projects objec琀椀ve was to abandon where
possible storm water over昀氀ows and where they
had to be retained to upgrade them to meet EU
standards. The project involved the construc琀椀on
of stormwater storage tanks in combina琀椀on
with low energy usage pumping systems in lieu
of large high energy usage pumping sta琀椀ons
alone to manage peak stormwater 昀氀ows in the
wastewater collec琀椀on system.
